The Harper Trio

One thing I love about my job is variety. I will go from one day shooting a cancer survivor to the next day meeting a brand new baby less than a week old. Last week I even shot a session for a billboard! I got a call from a gospel trio that was looking for pictures for publicity and possibly their new CD cover. What a fun thing to document. I encourage you to check out this very talented group and I am proud to say that I got serenaded by them in person. Before the session, we talked a lot about what kind of pictures they wanted and the look they were striving for. I even asked them to send me some CD covers and pictures that they liked so I could find their style. Between all of us, we came up with some great and colorful pictures. They loved the pictures and now I get to share them with you my blog readers. Enjoy!

WEBSITE UPDATES

Just a little note that my IT guy (my husband) is installing an upgrade to the blog and shopping cart system so if it is down or giving you issues, hopefully it is just temporary. Thanks!

Seven [Thomasville, GA Photographer]

He’s seven. Cute. He knows my almost seven year old. And…he smiled without making those goofy faces that my almost seven year old does every time I pull out the camera. Amazing!

Sniff Sniff…. They’re Moving.

Last year, I took this adorable little boy’s one year portraits and I had so much fun with the whole family. We took some great individual and family portraits and this little guy smiled non-stop.

Fast forward almost a year and this little one will be two soon. But, his family is moving away so his Mommy moved up his two year portraits before they leave…on Wednesday! I was so honored that she wanted me to be the one to take his special birthday pictures, even though I am sure it was a slight hassle in the middle of moving. I know I have said it a million times, but I ♥ my clients!

We headed out to the beautiful All Saints garden. I had come a little earlier and I chatted with the groundskeeper for a few minutes and I was so impressed with him and his vision and upkeep of this beautiful garden. So much work goes into keeping it beautiful and it truly is a gem.

We let the little guy play and run around and I took pictures when I could catch him. His Mommy is pregnant with #2, a baby girl (which I told her is dangerous when it comes to shopping) and so we also took a few maternity pictures as well. Is she not a gorgeous pregnant mommy?

Sarah + Logan [Thomasville, GA Wedding Photographer]

This past Saturday, I had the pleasure of shooting the wedding of Sarah and Logan. This was a small wedding of just family and it was going to be held in a beautiful pecan grove on the Twin Oaks plantation. And then, it rained. And rained some more. As I arrived, the raindrops were tapering off, but tjhe family decided to stay dry and have the ceremony inside the house. We were thrilled when the rain stopped and we could head back outside for pictures after the ceremony. This is a private plantation (another one to add to my current list) and just beautiful. After an hour or so of pictures, including some fun ones, I headed out and the family went off to celebrate the marriage with some yummy food. Congratulations Sarah and Logan!
