Where Have I Been?

Now that is a good question. Where have I been? Gone. All over the place. In July alone, the kids and I tagged along on two of my husband’s work trips and made a few stops along the way on the weekends. This month alone I have been to Mobile, Baton Rouge, New Orleans, back home, then Tampa, Sarasota, Miami, Cape Canaveral and then a quick stop in Orlando. I have been back a few days now and I am trying to catch up on things, but my cousin is in town from Minnesota (and what a change that is to here, huh?) and so this weekend I plan to get completely caught up on the remaining sessions and corporate work I have. I also hope to share some of the pictures from our Florida trip on here but alas, I have not had time to even look at them. Maybe next week….

One thing I have completed is the shopping cart upgrade. All new galleries will see the new shopping cart which is so organized that I just love it. It groups things together and eliminates the messiness of the product offerings of my old cart. I changed one customer over to it to get her opinion and she loved it and commented on how easy it is to find things.

So, watch for a few more previews this weekend. But, the next two weeks is completely booked with almost all corporate/commercial work so this blog might be a little lacking in new family sessions. But, with Christmas around the corner (at least in the photography world), I am sure there will be LOTS of previews in the following months.

Last of all, the holiday card choices for this year are up in a password protected gallery. If you are a current customer or have booked an upcoming session, just send me an email asking for the password and you can check out the new stuff. Most of the cards are new, although a few old favorites have been brought back. I will add new ones in there as the fall goes by so keep an eye out for what you like and then you can even plan your Christmas session outfits to match the card. Don’t laugh….I do that myself most years :)

I will leave you with a picture from New Orleans. My boys couldn’t take their eyes off this guy. Can you see why?

The Two G’s [Thomasville, GA Child Photographer]

While in New Orleans, I had the pleasure of taking pictures of these two sweet boys who remind me a lot of my own boys. The older “G” is quieter, sweet and easygoing and the older younger “G” is outgoing, funny, and full of energy. It kind of became a competition for the boys of who could smile better in their pictures and I thought that was so cute!

Sweet Baby Girl [Thomasville, GA Baby Photographer]

First off, the shopping cart has now been updated. I am copying over the settings and for all future galleries, you will see how streamlined it now is. Everything (for future galleries) is now in categories which will make it much easier to purchase the products you are looking for. The look is very different but hopefully I will figure it all out before I put any new galleries up.

Today I have for you a very cute baby girl. This little girl was a surprise. Her parents had two teenage boys and got a very special surprise right in time for her Daddy’s 40th birthday. How neat is that? This little girl will truly be the little princess with two big brother and a loving aunt with two boys of her own. As a matter of fact, her auntie bought her this cute little tutu just for her photo shoot. Little Miss C found her tongue just a few days before the session and so she was making the cutest little faces. I am not sure what she thought about wearing the hat though…. :)

New Orleans

HI there! I have finally started to go though my personal pictures from our trip to Baton Rouge and New Orleans and I thought I would share a few of them. I would love to say that I was completely up to date but I am actually a few sessions behind. School starts two weeks from tomorrow and with my little one starting preschool, I hope to have a little extra time to get caught up and ready for the quickly approaching Christmas holiday.

While in New Orleans, we stayed downtown and took the kids to the Children’s Museum, the Aquarium and even the French Quarter. The first picture was taken in the play optometry office in the children’s museum (I could hardly pull my daughter out of there or the play grocery store) and most of the other pictures were from walking around downtown. On that day, my younger son decided that he wanted to be in every picture, even when I wanted to take pictures ofadd the update ans someone else and so the whole day turned into a game. I have a few more pictures, including this very funny guy but I think I will wait for another day for those to go up.

Last of all, the shopping cart system is up again but not updated. My husband attempted to do the update and he ran into some issues and so hopefully we will try the update again later this week. Have a great week everyone!

Shopping Cart is Temporarily Down

Hi there! The shopping cart system on the website is getting a long overdue upgrade and my sweet hubby will be working on it tonight. If anyone’s gallery is up tonight, I will gladly extend it a day. I can’t wait for you to see the new, very streamlined and organized shopping cart.

I have to leave you with a picture of one of my kids before I go. I love his cute little face!
