5 Cousins [Thomasville, GA Child Photographer]

This week has been crazy with all the preschool orders and trying to catch up in general. Next week is even busier, although most of the work is corporate or commercial and so I won’t be sharing any of it. I do have a very special baby session on Sunday that I will talk about next week.

Before I go, I have to leave you with five cute cousins. I did a big family session and these 5 cuties were part of it and the rest were adults. Trying to get a picture with all 5 was rather humorous as they are 9, 7, 3, 22 months and 6 months. We got some cute ones and to be honest some really funny ones but I saved those for the parents. OK, time for cuteness….

Hannah & Kahlan [Boston, GA Engagement Photographer]

Meet Hannah and Kahlan. I have the pleasure of photographing their wedding this fall and I am super excited about it for so many reasons. First off, this couple is so fun and easygoing and they were willing to try all of my super crazy ideas. I love, love, love that. Second of all…they are gorgeous! They make my job easy. And third, their wedding is going to be so fun! I loved hearing about their plans and all of the family and friends that will be there.

I met them one morning in Boston and I we went all over town taking pictures. We had outfit changes, props, and lots of conversation. I love the engagement session as I get a chance to know the couple before the wedding and it helps me to create photographs that I know they will love.

As I mentioned before, I updated the blog which now has a SLIDESHOW feature but you must be viewing the blog as it is on my site and not from Google Reader or another Feed Reader program. I haven’t had time to add music files to it or changed the slideshow settings but this will happen later this week but for now I just had to share these pictures as I just adore them. Be patient as the delay time from one picture to the next is a little slow. But, you can always click on the thumbnails if you want to look at them with your own timing.

After seeing them you will know why I had such a fabulous time at this session. Please leave me some blog love if you like these pictures :)

Kristy & Stacy [Thomasville, GA Senior Photographer]

[Side note: Please ignore the changes on the blog for now. I started a blog upgrade and then realized all the defaults were set to someone else's pictures/text/etc so I made a few temporary changes until I can spend some real time on a complete blog redo next week. Thanks for your patience]

Recently I had the priveldge to photograph two of the sweetest seniors around and I can not believe how much they have grown up in the six years we have lived here. They are both sweet, polite, funny, full of personality, respectful and beautiful. They both wear smiles that could light up a room, well, more like a mansion. Their parents are fabulous and I have to say on the side that their mom is the best Sunday school teacher ever – all three of my kids have had her as a teacher in some form and they adore her). Back to the girls…

I met the girls one weekday evening and we walked all over. I probably should have warned them about how long we would be taking but they were sweet and gracious and didn’t mind me stopping every 5 seconds to take another picture. So, without further wait….here they are.

The Cutest Siblings, This Year’s Pictures [Thomasville, GA Child Photographer]

I took pictures of this pair last April and they were so cute and obviously adored each other. This year was even more fun seeing them interact and love on each other. Little sis was somewhat shy last year and it took her a little while to warm up, whereas this year she was ready to go from the moment I arrived and she got even cuter which I didn’t think was possible. Her big brother could possibly be the easiest boy ever to photograph and so sweet too. I teased him last year that when he gave me a fake smile it looked like a muppet face and I was so impressed that he remembered that and reminded me of it this year. That’s one smart kid. Thanks D for letting me photograph your gorgeous children!

Haley [Tallahassee, FL Senior Photographer]

I first talked with Haley’s mom back in 2009 about creating Haley’s senior pictures at the one place she really wanted to capture – Pebble Hill Plantation. We talked in great length about poses, clothing, makeup, jewelry, styles and how to achieve exactly what Haley and her mom wanted from this session. We changed the date a few times and finally it was the date we had finalized. I met them in the Pebble Hill parking lot and found a trunk full of clothing choices (SMILE) and then the opportunity for me to pick out what outfits I thought would be best. We had such a good time picking out one outfit after another and these previews are just some of the outfits we used, It’s a good thing Haley was a quick changer :) We had a fabulous time and even though Haley hates snakes, she still sat in the tall weeds just for me! Thanks Haley and her mom (D) for a fabulous session and I hope we captured just what you envisioned.
